MUMBAI: India is increasingly playing a pivotal role in the overall growth and success of SAP, the global leader in business software solutions.
It is, therefore, not surprising when Leo Apothekar, president, global customer solutions & operations and member of the executive board, SAP AG announced ramping up organically here to 3,000 employees by 2005 and to 4,000 by 2006-end. Currently, the Bangalore-based India development centre is the second largest development centre of SAP outside of Germany.
