IT-Director.com: A Snapshot of SAP: "Just as Robin was returning from his long trek to Vancouver and the BMC analyst meeting, I made a journey all the way to downtown Boston (about 10 miles from my home) to spend a day at SAP's TechEd conference. TechEd is SAP's annual conference for its technical constituents. I wanted to know how much progress SAP has made in implementing its grand vision � the move from provider of complex monolithic packaged applications to provider of modular packaged applications and infrastructure technology. This is important, especially in the context of Oracle's growing power in the packaged software market and IBM's role as a major force in middleware. "
