Bloomberg.com: Europe: "SAP AG, the world's largest maker of business-management software, forecast client defections from companies acquired by main competitor Oracle Corp. will rise this year as users are concerned about the future of their products, board member Leo Apotheker said in an interview.
Walldorf, Germany-based company SAP will this year win more than the 220 clients it gained in 2005 with a program targeting customers of companies bought by Oracle, Apotheker said today in Frankfurt. He didn't provide a specific number.
``We are in a unique position, and the window of opportunity is ours to grab,'' Apotheker, who heads SAP's global sales force, said. ``The program is exceptional, and the dynamics are bigger now than they were three to four months ago.'' "
