Bloomberg.com: Germany: "SAP AG, the world's largest maker of business management software, forecast software license sales will rise as much as 17 percent this year, beating analyst estimates, after fourth-quarter profit rose because of U.S. demand.
SAP predicted 2006 software license sales, a key measure of future sales from software maintenance and consulting fees, to rise between 15 and 17 percent, SAP today said in a PRNewswire statement. Analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News had projected 13 percent growth. Fourth-quarter net income rose to 619 million euros ($760 million) from 542 million euros. "
