Bullish outlook from SAP - The Manufacturer.com - Promoting best practices in manufacturing: "Software revenues for the Waldorf-based German software provider were �2.78 billion (�1.91bn) for 2005, up 18 per cent on 2004�s �2.36 billion (�1.62bn) and exceeding the company�s 2005 software revenue guidance of an increase in a range of 12-14 per cent. They helped lift total revenues for 2005 to �8.51 billion (2004: �7.51 billion), which was an increase of 13 per cent compared to 2004.
�2005 was an excellent year for SAP,� said CEO Henning Kagermann, adding that SAP had �accelerated peer group share gains� over rivals like Microsoft and Oracle � the latter trying to steal SAP�s clothes when it comes to targeting big business applications. "
