Line56.com: Oracle Fusion Progress
Line56.com: Oracle Fusion Progress: "Oracle is telling the marketplace that it is halfway to Project Fusion.
Fusion is a massive project, consisting as it does of an application roadmap (itself complicated by Oracle's acquisitions of PeopleSoft, Siebel, and a host of other companies, particularly in retail), middleware, and architecture.
When Fusion is complete, in 2008, Oracle's various products will be able to interact with each other more fully, developers will be able to create new functionality as needed, and interested customers will be able to complete the migration to the next-generation platform."
