"Question: A lot has been written about the PeopleSoft merger and the ongoing integration of PeopleSoft apps with Fusion and E-Business Suite. What can you say to PeopleSoft users to keep them in the Oracle fold until the newest Fusion comes out in 2008?
Studer: We are continuing to invest in and enhance PeopleSoft applications, and customers have a lot to look forward to in these applications. Our Lifetime Support policy gives customers breathing room to initiate upgrades when they see a strong business case, and when they are ready. When customers are ready, they can realize added benefits by uptaking the current release or through incremental investments in technologies that extend the value of their existing deployments."
