SDA India Magazine::News::Oracle Fusion Middleware Now Certified on SASH Stack
SDA India Magazine::News::Oracle Fusion Middleware Now Certified on SASH Stack: "Oracle Fusion Middleware is now a certified platform for the SourceLabs 'SASH' stack: Apache Struts, Apache Axis, the Spring Framework, and Hibernate. SASH integrates Spring, Apache Axis, Apache Struts, and Hibernate into a single distribution, tested and integrated to work with Oracle Fusion Middleware, which aims at reducing the cost, risk and effort for developers and IT departments using the software.
With integration issues in server-side Java development, a certified platform is expected to reduce operation risk and increase productivity. 'Many people are trying to use Struts with Hibernate and/or Spring with Hibernate and end up having integration problemsThe reality is that enterprises run open source and commercial software side-by-side and will continue to do so. Thats why Oracle partnered with SourceLabs to solve this issue for Oracle AS 10g customers. SASH simply means (Struts, Apache Axis, Hibernate and Spring). SourceLabs provides services around their tested SASH stack. Oracle customers using server-side Java are now able to improve productivity, reduce operational risk, and adopt open platforms with confidence.', sayd Omar Tazi, Chief Open Source Evangelist at Oracle."
