Oracle Middleware Leads IT Pack - Forbes.com: "Cowen & Co. analyst Peter Goldmacher maintained an 'outperform' rating on shares of Oracle after meeting with executives in charge of Oracle's middleware software group, Fusion Middleware.
Goldmacher said Fusion Middleware could help drive Oracle (nasdaq: ORCL - news - people )'s revenue growth, improve margins and push up stock prices.
Oracle's Fusion Middleware software was developed to connect businesses' applications, supporting a service-oriented architecture, or SOA. An SOA, according to Oracle, is used to integrate business services into an adaptable IT infrastructure."
