New City Corporation Starts Real Estate Search Service in English for Foreigners Living in Japan: "To date, New City has provided a search service in Japanese, with the aim of enabling customers to easily find a property they desire among the vast number available. This service leverages Oracle Fusion Middleware, Oracle's middleware product family, and Oracle Location-Based Services Framework, a positioning service solution that enables property data in Oracle Database and maps to be combined in real time. Through this means, customers can quickly scroll through a map of the area where they wish to live, and home in on properties on the map in real time. Now, in addition to the Japanese-language search service, New City has started a search service in English, using English maps, for foreign residents in Japan, who account for the majority of New City's customers. The development of this system was overseen by BRYCEN, which has a proven record in database system development, and the construction was accomplished in just three months."
