 Oracle sticks with 'SOA 2.0' | Service-Oriented Architecture | ZDNet.com

Oracle sticks with 'SOA 2.0' Service-Oriented Architecture ZDNet.com: "In the spirit of SOA, Oracle said its Fusion middleware and EDA Suite are 'hot-pluggable' architecture, meaning that it is interoperable with both Oracle and non-Oracle application servers including BEA WebLogic Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server and JBoss Application Server along with messaging buses such as Oracle Advanced Queuing, SonicMQ, Tibco Enterprise JMS and WebSphereMQ.

But the Big O won't let go of the SOA 2.0 label. In its press release, Oracle said that 'EDA is a key component of SOA 2.0, the next-generation of SOA that defines how events and services are linked together to deliver a truly flexible and responsive IT infrastructure.'"
