Australian IT - Migration fears hit SAP, Oracle (Kelly Mills, JULY 18, 2006): "According to Gartner research director Denise Ganly, Oracle users remain concerned about migration plans for Project Fusion, while SAP licence holders are struggling to justify an upgrade to newer versions of their software.
SAP's software licence revenue has shrunk, according to preliminary second quarter 2006 results announced last week.
'Users are reluctant to adopt new versions of SAP,' Ms Ganly said.
'Users are struggling to put together a business case of benefits of migration.' "
