SAP says closed 1 or 2 more deals that were delayed - MarketWatch: "German software firm SAP AG (SAP) has closed 'one or two deals' since last week which were originally scheduled for closing in the second quarter, Chief Executive Henning Kagermann told TV broadcaster CNBC.
Kagermann didn't elaborate on the closed deals.
On Friday, SAP posted lower-than-expected growth in software-license sales in the second quarter of 8% to EUR621 million from EUR576 million with the company citing 'order phasing and delayed contracts' for the disappointing result.
But SAP executives at the time said that they were confident it will seal the delayed contracts shortly. "
