Accenture has opened its Innovation Center for Oracle atthe Oracle headquarters in Redwood Shores. The Accenture InnovationCenter for Oracle is dedicated to the development of new ideas andinnovative solutions based on Oracle's Server Technologiesinfrastructure and Oracle(R) Applications software. The center willinitially focus on the development of leading-edge service-orientedreference architectures and reference applications based on OracleFusion Middleware.
'The center is the first of its kind to be located on the Oraclecampus and is designed to help accelerate the development, deliveryand commercialization of innovative Oracle-based solutions, andpromote collaboration between Accenture, Oracle and our clients,' saidJim Hayes, managing director of Accenture's global Oracle practice.'Building on the long-standing relationship between Accenture andOracle, the center is an important step forward in our ongoing effortsto help clients derive maximum value from their Oracle solutions.'
The Accenture Innovation Center for Oracle will enable Accentureto capture and distribute market-leading Oracle Applications andOracle Server Technologies Infrastructure product expertise throughcollaboration and direct links with Oracle's research & developmentteams, Accenture's global delivery center network of more than 40delivery centers, and Accenture Technology Labs throughout the world.
