SAP to invest $1 bn in India: "New Delhi, Aug 2 (IANS) German software conglomerate SAP AG Wednesday announced plans to invest $1 billion in India over the next five years, making the country a strategic hub for its research and development.
The announcement coincided with the inauguration of the firm's new office in Gurgaon, near the national capital, which will operate as a new centre of excellence (CoE) for catering to the requirements of its Indian customers. "
