Den’s Enterprisey Foghorn / SAP Death Star ecosystem
Den’s Enterprisey Foghorn / SAP Death Star ecosystem: "Shai offers his tips for success:
Make sure the application can be priced at around $250K when part of a larger SAP pitch
Find a champion inside SAP
Ensure the application is an ‘edge’ value deliverable SAP is unlikely to look at for its own development in the next 18 months
That makes sense except for one caveat: Shai reckons it takes up to three years to see serious payback from partner investments. As James Governor said during the Q&A:
I’m not sure there are that many developers out there willing to wait three years."
