Telecoms and Software News: "Oracle CEO Larry Ellison said in December 2006 that search functionality was a key function for Oracle's future growth, and that 'Fusion applications would have search built in as a primary navigation tool'. This release, which includes the availability of an embedded version, throws Oracle right into the centre of the enterprise search market place and will tempt many existing and future Oracle technology users to stick with software from Redwood Shores rather than look for third party tools."
